Dôr Retail Intelligence

The Dôr Team Just Spent 30 Minutes on the Conversion Rate Problem Nobody Measures

Outpost² sat down with Dôr CRO Spencer for a full walkthrough of the new Retail Intelligence platform. The framing is simple and it lands: retailers know revenue, and almost none of them know how many people walked in and left.

"Most retailers still don't know their conversion rate. They know revenue. They almost never know how many people walked in and left without buying."Outpost² · @Outpost_HGTP

That single line is the entire pitch for Dôr. If a store cannot count the people who came in, it cannot calculate conversion rate, and every decision about staffing, layout, promotions and hours is being made on half of the data.

Dôr has been measuring that number for years with a wireless sensor that installs in about five minutes. The new Retail Intelligence platform, announced earlier this week, takes that traffic baseline and turns it into an AI operating layer for the store.

What the Conversation Covers

Conversion rate is the blind spot

Retailers know revenue. Most of them have no idea how many people walked in and left without buying. Without a traffic number, conversion rate does not exist, and the biggest lever in the store stays invisible.

Measurement has to be trivial to install

The wireless thermal sensor goes up in about five minutes with no wiring and no technician visit. That is what makes rolling measurement across thousands of doors realistic instead of a capital project.

From counting to explaining

Retail Intelligence layers POS, e-commerce, labor, weather and marketing data on top of traffic, then uses AI to explain why performance moved and what to do next.

The data has a chain underneath it

Anonymized entry counts from Dôr Traffic Miners stream into the Dôr Metagraph on Constellation Network, which is what turns operational retail data into verified, tamper-resistant data.

Why It Matters for $DAG

Dôr is one of the clearest examples of a real business generating real data inside the Constellation ecosystem. It has been running for over a decade, it is deployed in more than 2,000 stores, and its traffic signal already flows into the Dôr Metagraph.

A 30-minute conversation with the CRO explaining how the product is sold, to whom, and what problem it solves is the kind of detail the thesis usually lacks. This is not a roadmap slide. It is an operator talking about a market.

No new token utility here. The Constellation link is architectural: verified traffic data on the Dôr Metagraph. Value flow to $DAG would depend on that metagraph scaling alongside the commercial product.

Five minutes to install. A decade of data behind it.
