$222M Into Circle's Arc
Circle's new Layer 1 blockchain, Arc, reportedly raised $222 million from some of the largest names in finance — including BlackRock, Apollo, a16z, ICE, Standard Chartered Ventures, and ARK Invest. The raise values Arc at roughly $3 billion fully diluted.
Arc is being positioned as an institutional blockchain focused on:
- Tokenized assets
- Stablecoin settlement
- AI agent payments
- Capital markets infrastructure
- USDC-native transaction rails
Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire described Arc as part of the next "economic operating system" for the internet economy.

AIAI Lists Tomorrow
At the same time, AI² is expected to officially list on NASDAQ tomorrow following its acquisition of Constellation Network. That timing matters. Because while projects like Arc are focused on moving money and tokenized assets, Constellation's Hypergraph and Digital Evidence infrastructure focus on something equally critical for the AI era: trust.
The Layer AI Actually Needs
AI systems, autonomous agents, enterprise automation, and tokenized economies all require one thing to function at scale: verifiable data provenance.
Not just fast transactions. Not just tokenization. Not just stablecoin settlement. They need cryptographically verifiable proof that the underlying data can actually be trusted.
That is the exact problem Constellation has been building toward for years through:
- Digital Evidence
- Metagraph architecture
- Data provenance
- Immutable auditability
- Enterprise-grade validation layers
A Narrative Shift
As institutional capital floods into AI infrastructure and blockchain operating systems, the market narrative is beginning to evolve beyond simple "crypto payments." The next phase appears to be about:
- Trusted AI systems
- Verifiable machine data
- Autonomous agent coordination
- Real-world telemetry
- Institutional-grade blockchain infrastructure
And now the largest firms in the world are openly funding that future.
"While Arc builds the money rails, Constellation's Hypergraph + Digital Evidence gives AI the one thing it actually needs: cryptographically verifiable data & provenance."

Tomorrow could mark the beginning of a completely new chapter for the ecosystem. Real infrastructure is finally being recognized.
